Ariyagiri Vipassana Foundation

Is A non-profit organization devoted solely to the dissemination of the Buddha’s Dhamma and charitable activities that help in the spread of Buddha-Dhamma around the globe and the alleviation of suffering everywhere.

Ariyagiri Vipassana Foundation, is a Buddhist Organization Founded  by the Most Venerable Suman Jyoty Bhante  at 2017 with the main objective of putting into practice the teachings of  Buddha through meditation. Moral upliftment (SILA), mental purity (SAMADHI) and deeper wisdom (PANYA) are the basis for all these noble causes. Ultimately a healthy society is defined by how peaceful and happy the people are. The AVF strives to achieve that goal collectively in collaboration with likeminded people.

Ariyagiri Vipassana Foundation groups are the members of Ariyagiri Vipassana Meditation Centre.. 

Ariyagiri Vipassana Meditation Centre is a Centre for Moral and Spiritual Education.

This center was started 2017 by Most Venerable Acharya Suman Jyoty Bhante. The purpose of the center is to run residential courses for meditation and intensive Dhamma studies. The courses aim to teach the moral values, meditation, character building education, personality development programs so that a strong vibrant and patriotic society is built in Mizoram and India.

This is A place for finding peace, happiness and meaning in life. It is dedicated to the welfare and happiness of people irrespective of religion, race, color, nationality or sex.

The vision and mission of Ariyagiri Vipassana Foundation can be defined by Saadhana- Developing one’s own potentialities and Seva- Compassion in Action – Humanitarian services.

1. to built a Large Buddha statue of 85ft height. 

2. Pagoda of 120 ft,

3. Large Meditation Hall, for 1000 people 

4. Bhikkhu Sangha Nivasa for, 500 monks

5. Shamanera Nivasa for 500

6. Upasaka Nivasa for 500

7. Upasika Nivasa for 500

8. Tipitaka Library 

9. Buddha Vihara 

10. Dhamma Hall

11. Dhamma training Hall, with separated room (like a dhamma school) to learn Buddhism.

12. Kitchen 

13. Dining hall for Bhikkhu Sangha and Shamanera for 1000

14. Dining hall for Upasaka and Upasika for 1000

15. Resort Centre for tourist.

Ariyagiri Vipassana Meditation Centre 

This Meditation Centre run solely on a donation basis. All expenses are met by donations. Neither the Teacher nor the assistant teachers receive remuneration.

People have different means, but even a small donation reflects your desire to help someone else to learn Dhamma. Donations are the only source of funding for our Centre. There is no wealthy foundation or individual sponsoring the centre. Neither the teachers nor the trustees receive any payment for the service. Thus, the spread of Dhamma is carried out with purity of purpose, free from any commercialism.

We welcome and invite donations from Dhamma Brothers and Sisters as well as from members of the general public.
